New Nerf Zombie Strike Blaster Sleeve

Nerf (Perpetual Play) are continuing the surprises with a new Nerf Zombie Strike Blaster Sleeve!
It would seem Nerf have commissioned a new Nerf Zombie Strike Blaster Sleeve for fans!

This holds 2 blasters slung over your back, and would appear to hold some darts on the front of the strap.

The material is similar to the Nerf Elite Range PAK accessory and there has been some mixed reviews on this. Some claim after a while that the material loses it's integrity and stretches.

Speaking to Bobololo this morning on Skype, he insists only having heard good things. It would be good to hear how it's doing after purchase if anyone has it!

It's about time we saw more of these accessories hitting the shelves, and giving Nerf fans a bit more bang for their buck in customising their blasters. Will this give hobbyists a run for their money?
OK so on with the show! Pic spam below:

The seller advises it is a Target exclusive, and has priced at $75.00 USD. The Sleeve claims to be adjustable for larger blasters, and can hold up to 2 blasters. I wonder if this will be the case if you try making it hold chunky blasters - will fans still be able to pack 2? It would appear from the pic above, there is a Retaliator blaster in the main Sleeve, whilst it packs a Spectre/Stockade. It also appears to be holding 5 darts on the shoulder/chest strap.

I'm impressed and this is most definitely a want for every fan :) We have seen many homemade cardboard style Sleeves, but this is a quick fix for that need.

So who will be picking this up - looks like my Xmas list just got bigger!

    1. F2A show that, like a lot of other blasters, it will fit but it's sorta iffy, if that makes sense.

  8. Am I the only one that thinks it's weird that this is a Zombiestrike item (exclusive to Target)and the packaging shows a Stockade (exclusive to WalMart)?

    1. Different stores might have different exclusives, but that doesn't mean Hasbro wants you to buy ONLY the Zombiestrike line or ONLY a Stockade... they want you to buy everything.

  9. Zombiestrike is a Target exclusive, but the packaging shows a Stockade (exclusive to WalMart)!?

  12. I have one of these rifle scabbards for my airsoft gear. could not make it work for me but that was a different animal than this.
HOwever it's still the same mechanics which lead to the same problems.

1: If you're like me and you like to use a sling for your main blaster, this will try to choke you.
2: Nobody's gonna Bruce Campbell their boomstick, not even the king himself could without another hand on his back. So unless there is some real synergy between the sleeve and blaster designs, you're 'likely' going to need a friend or a minute to replace your blaster, making this an emergency heavy hammer hanger, not a holster.

Now I eventually ended up using mine as a deployment bag, carting my stuff to the field and then breaking it down from there. That's the only way i can imagine the capacity for a second blaster to make any sense. ALTHOUGH! There is something to be said for a mule with a backup buddy blaster.

There is also something to be said for the new proliferation of sling bags, go bags etc. these can be great for NERFers on and off the field as they offer fast in and out storage. However when you have a blaster of significant length (determined by the wearers individual width and girth) that shifting action can become impossible and in some cases increase risk of damaging said blaster.

Having said all that, i'm still crossing my fingers and hoping against hope that this will work out to be another just righty item.
