NEW Nerf Elite Stryfe Mission Kit

Nerf release a new Nerf Elite Stryfe Mission Kit - a step in the right direction?

Many thanks to Dan Salgatar for sending this pic in. He saw it on the shelves at whilst out hunting for a Rapidstrike in the Philippines. It's an exclusive for Kohls - but I see no reason why it shouldn't hit other territories...

This pack is pretty awesome for those that are picking up Nerf for the first time because you get many of the decent accessories that make it up to be a tacticool blaster. It's just missing the Elite Pin Point Sight - right? :P

The Stryfe isn't a bad blaster, infact it's a chosen primary for many (Masterkey anyone?). I find it practical that it comes with the CS-18 clip, but impractical when they have just released the Range P.A.K molle (it only holds CS-12s?). Perhaps they plan to release single CS-12 clips? We will have to wait and see.

A good move all in all from Nerf, they are clearly taking point of all the fan led customisation, and I only hope this encourages retail chains to think again about stocking accessories. I might even say this is a bit behind the curve and it would be more practical to go ahead with single accessory packaging.

Will you pick one up and what would your perfect Mission Kit include?

  1. I won't be picking one up anytime soon because I already have all of these things. But, if I didn't I still wouldn't be buying it. The stock is a good length but doesn't have a clip holder in it, the barrel is designed for the Retaliator and doesn't look quite right on the Stryfe. And I'm not a big fan of the assault fore-grip either. Sell the Stryfe with the extendable Raider stock and no barrel extension then maybe I'll pick one up.

  2. I agree with the single accessory packaging. They must know by now that Tacticool is the way to go. Surely. And yes, it is missing the EPPS!

  3. This seems to be almost tailor made for the masterkey... Stockade stock is useless on a clip blaster, but if mounting a roughcut, those single dart holders get super useful

  4. About the pricing, that country tends to have higher relative pricing even after dollar conversion. It'll probably be priced way more practically in the us and uk

  5. I don't see the point of spending that much when you could simply wait for the stockade to come out and buy the three blasters for a few bucks extra.

  6. I'd buy that in a heart beat if I didn't already have them all haha. It's a very nice solid set

  7. I want that stock, but I'll never buy a Stockade, so this pack is useful to me. Been wanting a second Stryfe anyway, so I'll wait for this.

  8. I'd been wondering whether to get a rapid strike or just get a stryfe for the customization possibilities. Might just have to hold out for this thing.

  10. I think it should of came with the Elite Spectre barrel, it looks really good on the Stryfe.

    1. Agreed, I'd love to have that barrel but I really dislike the Spectre.

    2. I'd get this and an elite spectre... put the spectre's barrel and folding stock on the strife with the grip. Put the retaliator barrel and the 10 dart stock on the spectre, so that it has 2 ammo refills on hand.

  11. Sure, unless you have converted you retail in to a 1 shot no mag bolt action rifle the stock is useless. Though it looks cool, it doesn't work unless you convert the stock to a clip format with some slydev stuff.

  12. $50 is a lot of cold hard cash to come up for this one since a standard Stryfe is only $20 up on amazon. Would be a hit if the price was down in the $30's, but that's just rough. Hope to see it discounted and up on other online stores at some point :D

  13. ACTUALLY for anyone looking online for Stryfe and tacticool accessories; for the price of this online you can go on Amazon, buy a standard retaliator (semi-auto, good gun, plus all of the accessories included except 18-dart clip) and stryfe (6-dart clip included) for a grand total of about $40 for both with Free super-saver shipping. :3

  14. Eh. We got a pair of Stryfes when Argos did them at £9 each, and Asda is *still* doing the 18-dart clips at £7.50 each. The rest of the accessories can go whistle - stocks and foregrips are worthless when you're dual-wielding, and the barrel is just added weight.

What'd be really nice would be some cheap 25-dart drums to load 'em with. Still keeping an eye out for any cut-price Rampages...
