  • If you haven't seen the complete range to date, you can check it out here. This range to date has been in the works since 2010 as I learnt from my recent attendance to the Hasbro 'Xmas in July' where I had the opportunity to blitz Hasbro head honcho's about the range and much more. It remains unclear what their plans are in regards to their own Ruleset when it comes to Humans vs Zombies Nerf style. We will have to wait and see. Lets be honest, it's not like the kidults will use it. If anything, it might serve as a starter pack and move you onto college HvZ. Speaking of which, check out the Zombie Strike range additions at the San Diego Comic Con.

My question to all you HvZ'ers is this:  Will the Hammershot be a practical buy or one of the collection? and should Hasbro be stepping in on HvZ?

    1. I think the Hammershot looks pretty practical for a secondary/sidearm...not so sure about the rest of the Zombiestrike range though.
I'd love to see a rule set by Nerf, not like we have to use it.

      1. This could be real bad for Gnarwhal Studios.

    2. Loving the Hammershot as a secondary, it does not have the utility as the other secondary blasters out right now but I like the style of quick drawing on zombies.

Don't think their rule set will impact on college HvZ. Thanks and great blog.

    4. This is just the preorder page, which I have been stalking for weeks. Trying to resist buying a rapidstrike while I wait for my sledgefire. Also no one has commented or confirmed if these will be online only once they go on sale. Might we not even see these in store?

    9. My local targets don't have them in stock, and don't have any place to stock them on the shelves. When I look online, they are listed as "not sold in stores" and backordered for 2 to 4 weeks. Anyone know if that is a permanent thing, or they just don't have any to send to stores, let alone sell online?
