The video-game maker Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) Tuesday entered into a new four-year agreement with Hasbro Inc.
- Under this agreement EA agree to develop several of Hasbro's popular gaming brands for mobile platforms globally
- EA will continue to develop mobile games for several of Hasbro's successful gaming brands such as Monopoly, Scrabble, The Game of Life, Battleship, Boggle, Clue, Risk, and Yahtzee.
- Over the past six years, the two companies have collaborated to develop popular digital games based on Hasbro's best-selling global game brands.
"The next phase of our relationship will build on this tremendous success and is specifically focused on leveraging Hasbro's rich game brands with EA's leadership in the mobile space," Hasbro said.
Also Electronic Arts's Pogo.com gaming community will continue to be a central hub for digital versions of Hasbro games with no plans to design a standalone partner site.
