Baidu report of Elite Vulcan popping up in Beijing

I have recieved a ton of email about this, and Props to Gavin Lim Kang Jie for this heads up.

There is some hot buzz right now of reports that this popped up in Beijing, and the OP will be reporting pics and more later. I would like to say, that Hasbro shares dropped last week, so is it a coincidence that this breaks - as always ;)
If anyone remembers, I was hinted at this Elite Vulcan waaay back. The OP mentions a new Elite blaster, and also a Sub-range blaster too?

Should we get excited...?

To clarify, this image is Googled, as to what one might look like.
I never personally had one, can anyone with one tell me what their thoughts were on it? Would an Elite be worth it? I do hope they give a 50 EBF belt. A full auto blaster rips thru 25 darts quite easily - or maybe I'm used to seeing over voltage mods?

This is an original prototype of the Vulcan at a 2008 launch party - the EBF-50. Look at those darts!

Price was always an issue - we had the same with the Stampede too, and are seeing that released under a new guise with a finer price point. Speaking of the Stampede, that was also rumoured to be getting an upgrade - which Hasbro was quick to quash. But then we saw it completely revamped as the... well you know what it is, my NDA still prevents me from naming it until t hey do officially :)

Could this be making its way as an Elite Mega blaster?

    1. That's not a true Elite blaster... When have you seen Hasbro BOLT things to their products?

  5. On full auto, my stock Vulcan goes through a belt in about 10-15 seconds. Yes, I'd love to see one with a longer belt, but that would of course increase the reload time. I actually prefer just keeping a few extra belts around (I have 3 right now, and always looking to pick up more) loaded and ready to drop in.

    1. Matt there are mods to combine multiple belts at the cost of 2 rounds so u can essentially have a 48 dart belt

  6. An elite/mega overhaul of the Vulcan would be great in my opinion. I'm not that good with modding blasters and would love to see the belt feed mechanism fixed (it slips and skips darts). It would also be great to see a non-flywheel powered full auto blaster in the elite line too :)

  7. [Alex] If they did *just* an Elite paint job on a Vulcan, I'd be dissapointed. They would have to at least update the internals / belt feed mechanism to make me interested.

I love my Vulcan, but no matter how much I try to mod/improve it, the belt feeding is unreliable. Jams or misfires are just a likelihood of using them :\

I've modded mine to have the Air Zone Punisher's spinning barrels on the front, as well as HEAPS of internal mods, and yet it still has the same belt firing issues that everyone else has to put up with.

If they made an even better, completely new blaster design that was still belt-fed *like* a Vulcan, but with a more reliable mechanism and with longer ammo belts... annnd if it had minigun spinning barrels on the front... I'd probably buy ten xD

  8. This is some good news to me, since I didn't get the Vulcan when it came out. I've been looking into buying one, but now I think I'll wait and see if they actually come out with the Elite Vulcan. I like how they took what people modded in the N-Strike series into consideration and made the Elite series.

I have my favorite modded Maverick with AR removal and paint, but yesterday my friend brought his Strongarm over and I painted that for him and I didn't do anything to the internals. The stock Strongarm shoots farther than my modded Maverick. I think it's time for an upgrade for the Vulcan too...

  9. Mylastdart, you made the mistake of posting a picture that can be seen when someone hasn't clicked on the post and also not locating it lower in the article with words above it saying this is what the elite vulcan might look like. Tactical Tag and the same problem when he made an elite longshot mod and people thought it was a real elite longshot because they didn't read

  10. might be the new javelin......

  11. What if this isn't N-Strike Elite but N-strike Elite MEGA?!?!?!?

THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME! CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT! FULL AUTO, GIANT DARTS, 100ft. RANGE!

If that comes true I'll faint.

  12. I think they should have a 50 dart belt and re do the Vulcan like the Stampede to the rapidstrike. I think it should look like a belt Fed mini gun like on a chopper and the barrel would spin, also the tripod should be a tactical rail accessory.

  13. it's just a regular Vulcan repainted

    1. This is just a picture of what the elite vulcan might look like since there's not a true picture of the elite Vulcan yet.
