  1. $49 US would translate to about 60-65 on the shelves in Australia. That is expensive, but probably worth it if it has some decent mod potential.

  3. Mld I'm confused now....... there is no elite on there, is MEGA going to be ELITE 2 or something? I really don't like that idea. Mega should just be like a sub range and elite should last for years.

    1. I'm thinking that it's parallel like Dart Tag, something different instead of a replacement.

    3. MEGA means it's firing "Mega Darts", that are larger.

  4. I was really looking forward to this, but I'm really annoyed at getting a limited one... Hopefully it'll just be a slightly weaker spring and so easy to fix but still...

  5. Can you cite your sources? This pricing seems pretty suspect without a credible source of information.

    1. The information is from various Hasbro contacts in different territories and information I have from London Toy Fair.

  6. Well the Vulcan and Stampede released at $49.99... and I think the Stampede is still that much (maybe more) TRU. But those are also Electronic, this is a straight springer. I think the $50 is steep... I would have rather seen this for $40... but as long as it is in Target, and I get a 20% off coupon... plus my 5% Red card discount... I would get this. Call me cheap... but hell, it just saved me $12 that can go towards other stuff.

  7. I'm fine with the price, the only thing I'm worried about is if there will be dart refill packs for the Mega Darts. Would kill me if I only had the six or so darts that came with the blaster and I ended up losing or damaging one.

  8. TRU's still asking $54.99 for the Stampede while discounters had them last Christmas for $20. Just don't rush to be the first on your block to have one and you'll be able to pick one up reasonably...

  11. 50 usd is a visit at the cinema with your kids, or an awesome gun you can snipe at them for years!
